Project description
Almost half of Europe's population uses social
media on a daily basis and that is not only talking about children, but above
all about adults.
There is a social responsibility proper to
everyone that is the result of a civil education that has been imparted to us
since childhood. This education brings value to society by triggering a
virtuous circle because it develops positive relationships and personal and
professional opportunities. We all refer to written rules or understandings
that help us to define and develop good human relationships in everyday life.
Today, however, there is a wide new environment in which we live: online!
The objective of the Click Clever is to test
innovative actions aimed at developing critical thinking on social
communication, increasing users' awareness of the truthfulness of online
information and, at the same time, promoting a more responsible use of the
Internet by helping to make the Web a better world to live in for all.
To this end, the project intends to create a
range of innovative Social Education tools.
Social Education is the development of
cognitive, social, civic and creative skills that allow citizens to access the
Internet through a respectful and critical thinking approach. Ability to help
citizens participate more actively in the economic, social and cultural aspects
of society and to play an active role in the democratic process.
Social media, therefore, should be characterized
by online user responsibility and a respectful attitude towards other citizens having
different opinions. Social Education represents a solution to provide
strategies to promote user responsibility and create a digital culture
