Travelling from Airport to Nicosia and back
For coming from Larnaka (or
“Larnaca”) airport to Nicosia (or “Lefkosia” /”Lefkoşa”), here are your
options:
a) Taking a taxi from airport to
your hotel: about 50 EUR
or
b) Taking
the KAPNOS shuttle from Larnaka Airport to Nicosia Terminal: 8 EUR
Then, from Nicosia Terminal to your
hotel via taxi: about 10 EUR.
Here is the shuttle schedule:
http://www.kapnosairportshuttle.com/timetable?locale=en (booking
is advisable).
For Partners from Marmara Educators
Association:
From Ercan airport you can use
KIBHAS shuttle service http://kibhas.org arriving
in Nicosia Terminal. Then you can take a taxi to your hotel.
Of course, if you want, you can also
take a taxi from the airport (if I am not mistaken it should cost about 50 YTL)
For arrangements, advice and
directions regarding coming from the north, please speak with Larry, Michalis
and Beran (larry@cypruscommunitymedia.org,
michalis@cypruscommunitymedia.org,
beran@cypruscommunitymedia.org).
Then let us know of your hotel arrangements so we can arrange how to assist you.
Hotels
Each partner needs to make own
bookings.
During the booking, please
remember to inform the hotel that you are under "CCMC-MCOM"
reference (if needed, give them a phone call too).

Sky Hotel (www.skyhotel.ws )
the offer

the offer
for CCMC-MCOM is:
Single: 68 euro Bed &

Double: 85 euro Bed &

:), about 5-10 minutes walking from CCMC
Going to CCMC premises
Unless
otherwise stated, the venue for all activities will be CCMC’s Community Space
located in the United Nations Buffer Zone Nicosia (Google Maps)
CCMC is
about 10 minutes walking distance from both suggested hotels.
Walking Directions:
From Sky
hotel to CCMC: http://goo.gl/maps/NrFqG
From
Royiatiko hotel to CCMC: http://goo.gl/maps/4aPjs

Royiatiko is at Apollonos / Απόλλωνος street, and not
Arsinois / Αρσινόης street)
Always have
your passport with you, as you are entering in a
UN-controlled area when approaching CCMC.
For Partners from Marmara Educators
Association:
For coming to CCMC, you need to
cross from the Ledra Palace Turkish Cypriot checkpoint. Then CCMC is one minute
walking on your right hand side (http://goo.gl/maps/an4Jc).
To get to the Ledra Palace check
point, depending on where your hotel is, you can wither walk there, or take a taxi
(there is a taxi plaza at the checkpoint).
For arrangements, advice and
directions regarding coming from the north, please speak with Larry, Michalis
and Beran (larry@cypruscommunitymedia.org,
michalis@cypruscommunitymedia.org,
beran@cypruscommunitymedia.org).
Then let us know of your hotel arrangements so we can arrange how to assist you.
