PLAY is an Erasmus+
Small-scale Partnership in Adult Education that aims to develop an educational
methodology for senior population, using digital storytelling as a tool to
tackle intercultural learning, diversity and European Identity, and promoting
their social inclusion.
Objectives:
1.
Improving the
competences of adult educators, by engaging in innovative teaching methods and
using digital technologies to provide high-quality learning opportunities for
senior citizens;
2.
To allow senior population to explore diversity
and develop intercultural competences, by encouraging seniors to explore new
perspectives and learn about other cultures and Europe;
3.
To promote European Cultural Heritage and
European Identity among seniors, by using a methodology that will allow them to
connect their personal life stories and memories to Cultural Heritage and share
them in a European setting with seniors from other countries;
4.
To promote Lifelong Learning contributing to
Active Ageing and Social Inclusion, by engaging seniors in an educational
opportunity with peers from their community and from Europe;
