What is the planned outcome for Ascora: device that we can actually give for a real person and this person can
use all the 4 main pillars. Something that is usable. Ascora’s
hidden agenda: to reuse the components + data mangement
(database could be used for the costumers).
Creating and setting up of app – app platform to do business.
E-Seniors underline that the need of the seniors
should be kept already in mind.
Charité: The value of what Ascora
is doing – the partners’ different goals should be talked from the begging so
that all these goals can meet each other. Lets exchange ideas in a free way during the whole project.
Agenda

The 1st internal review 4 weeks before the
deadline
The 2nd internal review 2 weeks before the
deadline

End-User Visions
1. Charité:
A big variety of end-users (from healthy until very
ill persons).
User stories:
Methodo 1: Focus Groups and Interviews,
questionnaires with End-Users (seniors, caregivers, professionals, care-centres) > to be discusses who are our users?? Also
depends of the use-cases, and think the requirements now.
Methodo 2: Discussion guide for the interview or
focus group – we should do the guide together.
User stories: Classification of Themes: User stories could be
classified in pillars that could be classified for sub-pillars. One pillars is
enough for one or two focus group.
> Requirement handbook
(hand the scrums are driven from this book).
2. National Foundation for Elderly
- Older people: 70+, independent and autonomous
- Previous experience with ICT but need support
- Testing would like to start from the M12 when the
first mock-ups are ready (with from 5 to 10 seniors)
- M23 First Validation Study + M30 Validation Study
- Want to concentrate on the Pillar II Personalized
Social Inclusion
3. Discussion about the target group:
- ASC: The target group should not be too large
(because otherwise we cannot reach the purpose of the project)
- M1-M3: Where the target group ends and what will
they deliver.
- Start from the user view
4. What will be done in the WP2?
Additions:
Charité: During the whole project, we are doing
selection (of stories, visions, defining functionalities…) > the selection
process should be done together with the users and the representatives of the
users and during the whole project. This is very important in terms of
usability.
IESE: An important argument for the
dissemination and marketing.
TIE: 3 points to keep in mind: Individual
users interests, but also technological partners have their own ideas and the
customers are not always aware of what their want
R&D in the project: 3 different
interest groups: Research partners, User partners and technology partners
HUOM! Ask for ODN and CHN ppts!
How a EU project works
- SPP – Stuarts Pyramid of Perfection: in the projects we promise lot of ideas, but in reality we create
prototypes, but sometimes all the goals cannot not be achieved. We need to
agree the core part of the project that we can elaborate in terms of our
resources available.
- Coordination:
Michel Krummen does the day-to-day management and Sven
Abels takes care of the admin issues.
- Changes in the DoW: It can be done but should be avoided as long as possible as it is a
long procedure. Ideal, one amendment should regroup several changes (faster and
easier).
(Just the case of clinical trial- Clinical trial: CHA needs to proceed a clinical trial when they
involve persons meaning that they need to get approval from the Ethical
committee and the Data Security Officer)
- Tell in time if you cannot use the days in a certain task! The days can be given for another
partner. Check now all the tasks and think well if we
want to be involved in the task! Responsibility should be reduced for 2
partners (in stead of 3 partners). Sven will contact all the partners to see
the modifications. Check WP 9.
- The review meetings in Brussels: keep the deadlines in mind. Reserve
4 weeks the internal review.
Main rules:
- Be proactive
- Sometimes it’s about the getting things done
- Ask for help if you don’t know how to continue
- As a task leader: call people, remind people and
chase people
Managers:
What does a task leader to do?
E-Seniors is task leader in
- Board of
partners: all formal decisions
- The Advisory
Board: 6 experts from different field to be invited
- Deliverable max. 60 pages (+appendices)! There will be a guideline how the
deliverable will look like. It can be a report, a prototype or other (a wiki,
workshop). The delay can be move but with a very good reason.
- Reports to be done:
-
Report your costs: one per yer (M12, M24 and
M36)
Meeting calendar
- 10 partners and 9 physical meetings that lasts for 2
to 3 days
- 1 or 2 with Advisory Board as participants
